Producer Information:
Canteperdrix is a district of the town of Mazan particularly gamey where partridges were accustomed to regroup. After the harvest, the birds pecked the grains left on the stem where a fermentation could begin. This rather special consumption resulted in partridges singing more than usual.
In 2009, Demazet decided to associate this name to different selections: Tradition, Prestige, Viognier, Merlot, creating the “Canteperdrix” range.
Tasting Review :
Very dense robe, with purple-violet glints. Complex,
intense nose with black fruits and sweet vanilla aromas.
Rich and harmonious palate.
