The Moueix Family combined Chateau Providence with Chateau La Fleur Petrus in 2012. All the grapes have been used to produce La Fleur Petrus since then.
JS :”Chocolate and light coffee on the nose, as well as bright plum and blackberry. Full-bodied, with fine, slightly chewy tannins and a long finish. Best after 2013“
The Wine Advocate :”Made in a masculine, virile, full-bodied style with lots of density and power, the 2007 Providence is atypical for this vintage. Stylistically, it leans toward a style similar to the famed Chateau Trotanoy. Meaty black currant, earth, and forest floor characteristics combined with pure fruit and considerable structure make for a wine that requires several years of cellaring. It should evolve for 10-15 years.“
